Boat trip in Copenhagen, Denmark.
After a nice hotel breakfast we walked through Copenhagen’s long pedestrian area to Nyhavn.
Decided to take a guided tour on the canals.
Cost only 40 d.kr each! (about 5$)
(We have a very similar tour in Gothenburg, I had to check, they charge 3 times as much!)
Off we go…
The Opera house.
Only one person is allowed to smoke in here: The Queen, on here own balcony!
The roof construction is big as 3 soccer fields!
We passed the little Mermaid.
The Maersk head office.
The Marble Church and Amalienborg castle, (where the royal family lives)
Opposite the Castle, the Opera house.
Church of our savor.
Old BIG beer storage. In the times when the water was to dirty to drink all Copenhagener had to drink beer!
First floor: the second highest ranked restaurant in the world, Noma , have to make reservations 4 months in advance!
Back in Nyhavn.
I know, to many photos….I could not just stop myself! The houses and the boats are so beautiful!
Lunch in Nyhavn : Clams in creamy soup with garlic, fennel and white wine.
