Using the shrimp shells for a coming soup.

I used this recipe (in swedish)

a good piece leek

1 big carrot

1/2 fennel

3 Tbsp butter

The shells from  about 2 lb (1 kg) shrimps (saved in the freezer)

Cut the veggies,

Fry the shrimps in the butter at high heat a couple of minutes, stiring, do not mind the smell! Add the veggies and 2 Tbsp tomato paste, lower the heat and fry 10 more minutes, still stiring.

Add  1 cup of white vine, , 2 bay leaves, 8 white pepper corn. Add water if needed to almost cover. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Sift the liquid into a clean pot.

Boil to reduce. Discart the foam.

Save in the freezer for next delicious seafood soup!
