Cauliflower casserole


Boil a head off cauliflower (in pieces) just a couple of minutes.

Drain and arrange in a greased ovensafe pan.


Add about 1 lb (I had leftovers) smoked ham.


In the same pot you used for the cauliflower (to save the clean up):

Heat 1 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of heavy cream and a dash of cayenne pepper.

Cover it all with the sauce.


Top with a good cheese.

In Sweden we can not live without a cheese slicer so that is what I used,

shredded cheese will do it too.


Bake in oven 480 F /250 C

To add some color I had some chives in the freezer.
