Thick bacon with onion sauce and cabbage.


I prefer to cook the bacon in the oven, then i can make a lot!

480 F / 250 C until nice color, turn and repeat.   Image

For the sauce:

Fry  an chopped onion in butter,


add a cup of heavy cream and 1/2 pkg philly cream cheese,

salt and pepper.

Fry cabbage in plenty of butter, salt and pepper.

This is NOT a good picture! The bacon looks burnt!

Next time we eat this I must remember to take a new one!
