Oven baked herring with mashed cauliflower

I bought  filets of herring.

Rinsed them in cold water,

Image

Spread them out on a paper, salt,pepper,dill and a slice of butter.

Another filet on top,

Squeezed them in a greased baking dish,

Image

Poured heavy cream on top,

Image

Baked in oven 420 F / 200 C  15-20 min.

Cooked pieces of cauliflower in salted water 4 min, add cream and mash.

In case of any leftovers : delicious cold the next day!
