When someone in our family has birthday they are allowed to decide what to eat for a day!
Our youngest 18 year birthday:
Grilled fillet mignon with garlic butter,
Chanterelle sauce and boiled broccoli.
Fry the chanterelles in plenty of butter, add heavy cream and sour cream, salt, pepper.
Pour boiling water over broccoli and boil just a couple of minutes.
Grill the salted fillet.
The kids added “Hasselbacks” potatoes.
Peeled potatoes, sliced halfway, brushed with butter, baked in oven 480 F/ 250 C until done and nice color, salt.
